“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”
I Can Read With My Eyes Shut! by Dr Seuss
I’m Alex – journalist, bookworm and mum to Baby Bookworm, 3, and his little brother.
Stories have always been a big part of my life and now I want to share them with my sons – and you.
This blog celebrates everything to do with children’s literature: the very best writers and illustrators, new talent and author interviews, fantastic shops and literature events, inspiring new reads and old favourites.
And of course, what we are reading at bedtime.
Disclaimer: Some of the books and activities we feature have been paid for by us, some are gifts from loved ones or borrowed from the library. Others are sent to us by publishers for review but with no obligation to feature.
I only include things that we love or think you want to know about.
This blog is a labour of love rather than a source of profit, but I do include Amazon links to books in case you should like to buy a copy. For each sale, we receive a very small percentage and are extremely grateful for that tiny extra income.
PRs and publicists: if you have a book, event or author you think we might be interested in, please drop me a line to firstname.lastname@example.org
