I’m Alex – journalist, bookworm and mum to Baby Bookworm, 3, and his little brother.

Stories have always been a big part of my life and now I want to share them with my sons – and you.

This blog celebrates everything to do with children’s literature: the very best writers and illustrators, new talent and author interviews, fantastic shops and literature events, inspiring new reads and old favourites.

And of course, what we are reading at bedtime.
